Verse 1

Meaning:
I meditate on Lord Mahadeva, who is the protector of all beings, the destroyer of sins, and the supreme being. He wears the hide of the mighty elephant and from his matted locks flows the holy Ganga. He is the slayer of Kamadeva (desire).

Verse 2

Meaning:
I praise Lord Mahesha, the great God of all gods, the destroyer of the sufferings of the gods. He is the all-pervading Lord of the universe, adorned with sacred ashes. He has three eyes, representing the moon, the sun, and fire, and has five faces radiating bliss.

Verse 3

Meaning:
I worship the five-faced Lord Shiva, who is the Lord of Mount Kailasha, the leader of Ganas (attendants), and who has a blue throat from holding poison. He rides the bull Nandi and is adorned with ashes. He is Bhavani's (Parvati's) consort and the supreme shining consciousness.

Verse 4

Meaning:
O Lord Shambhu, the beloved of Parvati, with the crescent moon on your head! You hold the trident and wear matted hair. You pervade the entire universe and are its very form. Please be gracious to us, O Lord, who embodies fullness and perfection.

Verse 5

Meaning:
I meditate on the supreme Lord, the primal cause of the universe, who is formless, beyond desires, and realized through meditation on Om. From Him, the universe is born, sustained, and into Him, it dissolves.

Verse 6

Meaning:
He is beyond the five elements (earth, water, fire, air, and space), unaffected by sleep or weariness, and not limited by time or space. He transcends seasons, places, and forms. I worship that Trimurti, the cosmic power behind creation, preservation, and dissolution.

Verse 7

Meaning:
I surrender to the unborn, eternal, and causeless cause of all causes, who is the ultimate consciousness and purity beyond dualities. He shines through all forms and is beyond ignorance, without beginning or end.
